Bro Cabs – Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Bro Cabs, we strive to ensure a seamless and reliable ride experience for all our users.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are handled
on our platform.
1. Ride Cancellations by Riders
- Free Cancellation Window:
Riders may cancel a ride within 2 minutes of booking without any charge.
- Late Cancellations:
Cancellations made after 2 minutes of confirming a ride may incur a cancellation fee, depending on
the distance already traveled by the driver or other operational costs.
- Driver En Route or Arrived:
If the driver is already en route or has arrived at the pickup location, and the rider cancels, a
cancellation fee will apply.
2. No-Show Policy
If a rider is not present at the pickup location within a reasonable waiting time (usually 5 minutes), the
ride will be marked as a no-show, and no refund will be issued. A cancellation or no-show fee may
apply.
3. Ride Cancellations by Drivers
If a driver cancels a ride:
- Riders will be notified immediately.
- You will not be charged for the canceled ride.
- If a charge was mistakenly applied, you can request a refund through our support team.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only issued under the following conditions:
- You were charged for a ride that was not completed.
- A technical issue occurred (e.g., duplicate charges).
- The ride experience was unsatisfactory due to driver misconduct or operational failure, and verified
by our support team.
To request a refund, contact our support team at info@brocabs.co.za within 7 days of the ride in
question.
5. Surge Pricing & Estimated Fares
- Fares may vary due to traffic, route changes, and real-time demand (surge pricing).
- Refunds are not provided for changes in fare due to time or route unless there was a confirmed app
or driver error.
6. Payment Disputes
If you believe you were incorrectly charged, please contact us at info@brocabs.co.za. All payment
disputes must be raised within 7 days of the transaction.
