011. Anyone can play

Bro Drive is a free game from Bro Cabs. Anyone can play. You do not need to be a Bro rider, you do not need a subscription and you never pay to play.

You only need to give us a name and a phone number or email if you want your score on the leaderboard. If you win, you will be asked for your Bro rider account so we can add your reward.

022. The weekly competition

There are four games: Bro Dash Arcade, Bro Street Chase, Bro Midnight Run and Bro Neon Getaway. Each game has its own weekly leaderboard.

A week runs from Monday 00:00 to the following Monday 00:00, South African time. Every leaderboard starts from zero at the start of each week and scores never carry over. A run belongs to the week in which it started, and a run started just before the cut-off can still be submitted for a short time afterwards.

033. Scores and ranking

Only runs that Bro verifies count. Your best verified score in a game that week is the one ranked.

If two players have the same score, the player who reached that score first ranks higher.

044. Winners and rewards

At the close of each week the top three players in each game win: 1st place R50, 2nd place R30 and 3rd place R20.

If fewer than three players qualify in a game, only the positions actually earned are awarded. A position is never filled for the sake of it.

Rewards stack. A player who places in more than one game, or in more than one week, earns each reward separately.

Winners appear on the winners page once the week closes.

055. What the reward is

The reward is Bro rider-wallet credit for use on Bro trips. It is not cash and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Bro Drive is a game of skill and is not a betting or gambling product.

Bro Drive does not hold money or a balance. The credit is added to the winner’s Bro rider wallet by the Bro team.

066. Claiming and winner verification

Winners claim their reward by telling us the phone number or email of their Bro rider account. Where we have your email address we send a personal claim link; if we only have a phone number, the Bro team will contact you. A claim link works once.

Before any credit is added, Bro checks that the account you gave is a genuine Bro rider account. An email address on its own does not prove who you are. You need a Bro rider account to receive the reward.

Once the account is checked and the reward is approved, the Bro team adds the credit to that wallet by hand, normally once a month. There is no claim deadline at launch.

077. Disqualification and fair play

Bro may disqualify a result, a player or an account at any time if it believes there was cheating, tampering with scores, use of duplicate or multiple accounts, or other abusive or fraudulent behaviour.

A disqualified winner is withdrawn and their reward is cancelled. It is not given to another player, and no other player moves up into a reward position.

Bro’s decision on rankings, winners and disqualification is final.

088. Your information

We use your name and contact details to run the leaderboard, to contact winners and to add rewards to the right Bro rider wallet. Your display name and score are shown publicly; your phone number and email are not. We do not ask for card details or passwords.

099. General

Bro may fix errors, stop abuse, and change or end the competition if it has to, and will update these rules here when it does.
